The Magic Of Magic's mission is to help raise the standard of magic.
There are many magic products developed and sold, that may not be what they are marketed to be. Promotional videos are edited to leave out facts and techniques that make effects appear stunning, when in reality, they may not be magical at all. Gimmicks are presented as if they are not noticeable during a performance, yet in real situations, they are obvious to spectators.
The Magic Of Magic reviews products against a set of criteria to ensure that:
- The magic has sleights that aren't extremely difficult, with no false moves or noticeable gimmicks.
- The magic has misdirection that is natural and motivated.
- The magic can be performed at many angles.
- The magic won't challenge the attention span of friends or spectators.

Mark is the founder of The Magic Of Magic. His goal in establishing The Magic Of Magic, is to combine his passion for magic with his business background, to create an entity that inspires high standards of magic, and “works magic” for charitable organizations.
Mark has been performing magic for 35 years. His love for magic was inspired by his grandfather. At the age of 12, he was captivated by an effect his grandfather shared with him, turning a penny into a dime with the wave of his hand. Mark developed an affinity for close-up and platform. Soon, paper route earnings were spent on the latest mail order gimmicks and effects from Abbotts and Tannens.
In his teens, Mark worked restaurants and other venues to hone his skills. As life evolved, his magic focused toward sharing with family and friends, performances at schools and hospitals, and at other charitable organizations. Today, in the spirit of charity, he performs on a gratis basis for orginizations that help others as well as restaurants, corporate events, receptions and other special ocassions.
Mark's business experience lent itself toward the creation of The Magic Of Magic. Previously, he was the Marketing Financial Manager at a privately held $1B company. He also held positions of Controller and Chief Financial Officer in two rapidly growing and evolving venture capital funded organizations. Additionally, Mark worked for a major accounting and consulting firm in manufacturing, service, financial and other industries.
Mark holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Youngstown State University, is a CPA and earned an Executive Masters in Business Administration from Case Western Reserve University in 2010. He is a member of the Medina County Caregivers Board of Directors. Medina County Caregivers provides free services to older adults and people with disabilities so that they can remain independent.
Mark is an active member of the Society of American Magicians and the International Brotherhood of Magicians (IBM). He is the Vice President of the Youngstown IBM Ohio Ring 2, the Filips-Tutter-Doeright Ring. The IBM is the world's largest organization for magicians and for people interested in the magical arts.
