A Questionable Alternate Ending to an Ambitious Card Magic Routine

• Total Ambition was developed as an alternate ending to an ambitious card magic routine. With Total Ambition, your spectator places a round sticker on the back of their signed card, near the end of your ambitious card magic routine. This card is then placed in the center of the deck. The spectator’s card with the sticker, then magically appears on top of the deck.

• The Total Ambition gimmick functions differently if your hands become moist while performing. This occurs because of variations in humidity or moisture on your hands due to any number of factors, including nerves. This will cause a noticeable delay in the appearance of the sticker which may reveal the gimmick.

Good Ambitious Card Magic Routines Have a Visual Ending

• In comparing Total Ambition to the pop up move, the Total Ambition ending doesn’t add greater value to the spectator’s experience.

• The Pop Up Move is more exciting and doesn’t require a gimmick to be added to your deck during your Ambitious Card magic routine, nor stolen away at the end, to allow you to continue your performance.  

• Additionally, you’ll find there are angle restrictions when using the gimmick.
